insulin resistance is a bigger problem than we knew

Research on the brains of Alzheimers' patients seems to show that toxic proteins render neurons which are responsible for learning and memory insulin resistant, leading them to label Alzheimer's "Type 3 diabetes". Wow.

I thought this article had some good points in it, even for a person who *doesn't* suffer from PCOS. My carb cravings can be pretty off the hook, at times. I think the two things I'm addicted to most are cigarettes, and starch. True confessions.
